A Soft-Spoken Cry

Av: Lars Johannes Kippervik

-The Arctic-

When summer ends and darkness thrives

Awakes the frozen winter lives

A barren land the coat a white

Turns red and green in Northern Light

“Up North!” He said, his vision clear

In Far up North, he sought to hear

The crackling sound of ice and snow

On glaciers, sea and summits low

But when he came to Far up North

A silence lay upon it all

And from the east, a distant shore

A worry- it would be no more.
